Die Idleburghers are a Bavarian Um-pah Band made up of ex. pupils and staff from St. Matthew's RC High School, Manchester. The idea behind Die Idleburghers is to raise money to subsidise school band trips abroad. Some families have two or even three members in the school band and obviously this can be a financial burden on their parents. Previous band tours include: Austria, Cornwall, Ireland, Germany and France.
